Abstract�� In order to solve the problem of estimating the sample spots diameters in fabricating biochip, the liquid dispensing principles were analyzed. The affections to the sample spots diameters by the factors, such us the tip diameters, printing velocities, and liquid characters, were tested and discussed. According to the experimental datum, the estimation formula of sample spots diameters was put forward. The research result is helpful to select correct parameters in fabricating biochip.
