Abstract�� The importance of using database and computer aided analysis technology in the examination of processing aircraft sheet metal parts was put forward by analyzing the actuality of technology design for aircraft sheet metal parts. The general structure and realizing scheme of the process examination system were analyzed based on the aviation sheet metal forming database (Ashbase), and the key techniques and solution methods in establishing this system were studied. By using this system, forming performance of the sheet metal parts can be examined with high efficiency and precision.
