Driving Technology of the Light Source of FOG

摘要: 为提高光纤陀螺精度, 实现光纤陀螺工程化,设计了高精度恒流源及精密温控电路,用于光纤陀螺光源驱动.结合光纤陀螺特点,讨论了从光纤陀螺耦合器和探测器提取信号进行光反馈控制的方案.测试结果表明, 在变温环境下(-20℃~55℃),恒流精度达到0.06%, 温控精度达到0.1℃,光源出纤功率的变化在0.1%范围内,较通用的光源驱动电路提高了一个数量级.Abstract: For the purpose of improving precision and practicability of fiber optic gyroscope(FOG) , a current source and a temperature control circuit were designed for driving the light source of FOG. Considering the characteristics of the FOG, a scheme of controlling the driving current by the feed back light from the coupler and detector of FOG was discussed. The testing results indicated that, in a temperature range of -20℃ to 55℃, the present technology can yield a current precision as high as 0.06%, a temperature control precision of 0.1℃, and a variation of light power less than 0.1%.
